Once upon a Carboniferous Period time, on a tropical seabed
settled the shells and bones of billions of tiny prehistoric sea creatures
compressed then thrust skywards over many millenia
by gargantuan subterranean forces.

I sit awhile upon this windswept petrified gray graveyard, contemplating eternity and
eating a Milky Way ( ” the universal snack you can eat between meals
without ruining your appetite” ).
